Description: This modernist swirl designed Monet brooch features stunning lipstick red enamel in a gold plated setting.
This pin will work well with any outfit, giving a sophisticated look to office wear or a glamorous edge to an evening dress, a jewellery box essential.
Measuring 3.5cm at widest point the brooch is in good condition showing slight to no wear, with fully working roll lock clasp.
It remains shiny and clean and is signed to the back.
As with all Monet jewellery this brooch pin has been well made and is of a timeless style.
About the Designer: During the 1930s Monet (then called Monocraft) was know for monogramming bags before expanding their range into costume jewellery.
When costume jewellery flourished in the 1950s Monet where a very popular choice with their clean and tailored designs.
Monet designed jewellery for Yves Saint Laurent in the 1980s.
Today Monet jewellery is prized by collectors for its quality.
