1970s ‘Golden Petals’ Silver Sarah Coventry Necklace

Description: A little while ago I was able to source a large collection of Sarah Coventry jewellery direct from a representative of almost 18 years.
The collection included many iconic pieces, most of which have featured in books and film.
The collection proved to be a time capsule of the company and changing fashion tastes alike.
This necklace titled ‘Golden Petals’ is one of those pieces.

The Golden Petals necklace features delicate detailed flowers hinged together to create a diamond shaped mesh pendant which is very unique. Listed in the 1971 Sarah Coventry catalogue as “golden classics for any age“ this is a stylish necklace that can be worn with any outfit, from day to night. But… It’s silver! This rare find was an unusual alternative with few being produced. I’m told exclusive to representatives only.

The pendant measures 9cm long with a matching silver tone chain that can be adjusted in length.
The necklace is signed by a signature hang tag and is in wonderful condition, showing slight to no wear. It remains bright and shiny.
As with all Sarah Coventry jewellery this necklace has been well made and designed to be timeless.
Perfect for the collector or everyday wearing.
