A brief history of Exquisite Vintage Enamel jewellery:
- Exquisite jewellery was produced from 1914 until the end of the 1970s.
- ‘Exquisite’ was a brand name used by a local (to us) company called ‘W A P Watson’. They produced a number of jewellery items and souvenir charms, including Sterling Silver jewellery.
- The Exquisite jewellery company were based in Solihull, UK.
Exquisite Vintage Enamel Jewellery Information and Research:
Exquisite where well renowned for their beautiful hand finished cold enamel jewellery. The jewellery featured a range of floral and leaf designs. Creating a collectable series of brooches, necklaces and earrings as well as bracelets.
Since all of the jewellery was hand finished and hand painted with cold enamel there are a number of different colourways available.

Marcasite & Enamel Flower Series.
At least 10 designs have been found to this collection. Flower designs where available with bright enamel colours and marcasite detail, mostly with a marcasite ribbon or bow in each design. A number off different colour-ways have also been found.

Note: So far I have only seen brooches with the marcasite floral design, I would love to hear from you if you have these designs in earrings, necklaces or bracelets.
